It will be sent first class but please allow 3 working days for delivery. 2. CAN I PRACTISE USING THE UNIT BEFORE GOING INTO LABOUR? Yes, just try the two pads on your forearm to feel the different pulse sensations. Please follow the instructions on the back of the electrode packet to keep them fresh for the big day! Extra packs are available for £4.49 if required. Please see 'TENS ACCESSORIES' to order. 3. CAN THE TENS MACHINE BE USED WITH OTHER METHODS OF PAIN RELIEF? Yes, with gas and air and pethidine. TENS cannot be used in water. If you decide to have an epidural later in labour you will be advised to remove your TENS machine at that point. 4. CAN I USE THE TENS MACHINE AFTER THE BIRTH? Yes. By detaching the booster button the TENS machine is ideal for post-natal use, for example to relieve shoulder or back pain, or to relieve pain following a Caesarean section. 5. I DON'T WANT TO PAY BY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD. HOW ELSE CAN I PAY? Whilst the website only accepts payment by major credit or debit cards, we are happy to accept other forms of payment.
